Today's Task: Work Cited and Finish Presentations

Let's start by doing some citations together!
You need to complete your presentations today. We are presenting on exam day!

Think about the rhetorical triangle...

  • Ethos- You will seem credible if you cite your research and seem reasonable and fair in your claims
  • Logos- Give us all of the facts. Back up your claims with evidence.
  • Pathos- Appeal to our emotions. Who will you humanize? If you are claiming that your subject is unforgivable, grab our heart-strings with the victims. If you are claiming that your subject is a victim as well, how can you make us see your subject as something other than a monster?
